As many of you know, we are located in Texas and that means hurricanes. As I write this we have one barreling down on us. As a lifelong Texas I'm not overly concerned. Our home and business stay prepped and we are good to go!
What normally happens is we get a bunch of rain, some wind, and we lose power for awhile. That means prep time and I don't mean for a hurricane. When you have forced (or not) down time it is a great time to go through your closet and prep what you're bringing into the store.
Take a look in your closet and ask yourself what haven't I worn in the last six months? Do I need this or even like this? Those are the ones that should be coming to us and of course that should also include shoes and accessories.
Before you bring them in give them a good once over and make sure they are clean, all the buttons are there, and that there are no pet hair. Remember! The better they look the more we can charge and the more you make. All clothing items should be on hangers and in excellent condition.
We accept consignments 20 items at a time from the 1st-21st of the month (and remember we are a seasonal shop). Your items stay with us for 60 days and once they sell you receive 40% of the selling fee! It really is a win-win! You are getting your closet cleaned out and making money at the same time.
